It's official. I'm sick boo hoo. Er sick as in my eyes are watery. So is my nose. And my throat itches. At least the nausea I felt in the morning went away. Can you believe that the thought of brushing my teeth alone was enough to make me gag? That has never happened to me before O.O

I should have stayed in bed and slept it off (because I brought it upon myself for not sleeping enough). But I went out anyway. I've had a super darn busy week and the little time out couldn't have come at a better time. I've been a little wound up and it feels like I've been running around like a headless chicken. I've been sorely tempted the past few days to be a bitch and just say what's on my mind without caring about other people's feelings. Which was one reason why I've been a little quieter then. I've been biting my tongue.

But after the past couple of hours, I'm feeling more relaxed and recharged enough to face the exam period..in terms of positivity, not rest haha. It's kinda hard with my housemates going around looking all morose about exams but heck, I'm taking it as a reminder for me to get on with my work.

Hehe, next semester, I'll cut back on my commitments :)

PS: Heehee, I reckon a gaming night is in order. I'm entertaining thoughts of organising one in a month or so..Actually, I really want Chris to pass me that cs matrix map =p

I have eye bags even though I slept early (early = midnight hehe) last night.

And your trip to Melbourne that was off looks like it's back on..

Ugh, still haven't caught up on my sleep from Thursday. I pulled an all-nighter but I haven't had the time to sleep in or even take naps.

And I'm not sure if I'm happy or dreading your visit.

Kerana sudah lama saya tak buat benda macam ini (RAWR! Editing this post was a bitch):

What's your life's soundtrack?

So, here’s how it works:

1. Open your library. (iTunes, Windows Media Player, iPod, etc.)
2. Turn on ’shuffle’.
3. Press ‘play’.
4. For every section, type the song that’s playing.
5. When you’re on to a new question, press ‘next’on your player.
6. Don’t lie and try to pretend you’re cool by hiding your Hilary Duff and Westlife songs.

Opening credits:
You Had Me - Joss Stone

Woah, such a drama mama beginning

Waking up:
I Think We're Alone Now - Girl's Aloud

Uh oh. Secret's out...
Hehe, it's something my housemates and I kid about.

First day of school:
Firefly - Breaking Benjamin

OH! I LOVE THIS SONG! But I like Blow Me Away more. It's from the soundtrack for Halo. Not sure how it applies to first day of school though. "Walk awayyyy"?

Falling in love:
Over My Head - Lit

=) How appropriate

Fight song:
Hey Mama - Kanye West

HAhahaha
"I said mommy Imma love you till you don't hurt no more
And when I'm older, you aint gotta work no more"

I remember making a promise like that before. It was after a fight..a fight that I don't even remember who started it or even what about =/ I wonder....

Breaking up:
Detention: Sloppy Love Jingle Part 3 - Gym Class Heroes

Despite the fact that he raps about getting laid, it's almost fitting for breaking up - coz he gets dumped over and over. Yeesh, I'm really pulling at strings to link this song to breaking up

Prom:
The Other Side of Me - Hannah Montana

Hehe, yes I have some pretty darn poppy songs on my WMP. But I DO enjoy showing another side to me at proms/events where I have to dress up. It's fun to come up with something people don't expect me to wear :)

Life is okay:
Mr. Z - Five/5ive/aiyah, I dunno la. I was too young back then to remember why there's a difference.

"Yo you gotta sit back relax"
The song itself is pretty chillax. Mm, yes life is okay.

Mental breakdown:
Blaze of the Soul Reaper - Shiro Sagisu

That's the dude who does the Bleach anime soundtrack. I like the beginning with the awesome electric guitar rifts hoho. I usually skip these songs though because it makes me feel like I'm going crazy

Driving:
Boston - Augustana

"You don't know me, you don't even care"
YEAH! You don't know me..that explains the "OMIGOD YOU CAN DRIVE A MANUAL?!?!" when I told you I'll take the old bomb car. Bleh..sore point. I'm not an awesome driver but heck, I'm not that bad either

Flashback:
Step Up - Linkin Park

I felt this was my calling for the past couple of months, to step up and step out of my comfort zone =)

Getting back together:
You Found Me - Kelly Clarkson

So the guy takes the initiative for us getting back together? La di da. I'm a rolling stone that gathers no moss and I try not to hang on to the past so yeah, sounds kinda right that the guy tries to find me.

Wedding:
On the Lord's Day - Hillsong United

Either it's on a Sunday or it'll be a blessed day =D

Birth of first child:
Everything I'm Not - The Veronica's

Er, not a good sign. Or is it? My 3 brothers and I were a boisterous bunch hehe. Dunno how my parents coped

Final battle:
Kita Kita Jo M'ola - King Sunny Ade

Huh?? What on earth is that? Will my final battle be confusing???

Death scene:
Nothing Left to Lose - Puddle of Mudd

Nice. I want to go down with nothing to lose

Funeral song:
Let's Dance - 5ive/Five/Why la this band again

A happy funeral. Niceness
"I like to party, you like to party. Come on everybody, let's get it started" =D

Ending credits:
Walking Away - Lifehouse

WAH!! I likee this quiz. So fitting la most of the songs. My life has such a nice soundtrack hahaha. Walking away as the ending credits. Perfect!

The sun goes down as the city lights
Pave their way through the darkest night
Raindrops fall as an old man cries
Never thought to ever think twice

Of all he had
Of all he lost
A selfish life
And guess comes with the cost

Hey, remember me
I remember you walking away
Hey, remember me
I remember you walking away

It's that season again..where declaring you're "tired" is taboo. Where take-out becomes our staple because we can't find time to cook. Or we just couldn't be bothered. Where we take turns to look up and sigh.

=(

Have I mentioned I hate writing essays? Well, at least for uni la. I liked writing fictional ones a lot. Past tense because I'm no longer in touch with my creative side. I think in point forms and writing essays forces me to link up all these thoughts and make them into a cohesive, logical 1.5k essay.

Sucks sucks sucks I tell you.

If you are what you say you are, a superstar
Then have no fear, the camera is here

I've been looking up the specs of a few cameras, planning with my imaginary money what I would like to buy. In the meantime, I've borrowed a friend's camera but they're lacking batteries. Where's the rechargeable batteries when you need them...

I've been procrastinating about blogging. I blame it on not having a camera to take random stupid pictures. But that's merely because procrastination requires a good excuse :)

Here's a bunch of random pictures from this OCF Easter Camp I went for on er..Easter weekend haha. That's almost 2 months ago? Better late than never =p

Oh and they aren't in any particular order because I got them from a bunch of different cameras so they weren't arranged in sequence and because I'm too lazy to try to figure out which event came first.

Some cute little kid whose name I do not remember.
He had a rugby ball but he saw Pearly's bottle and latched himself to that instead. And then he took Leland's handphone haha.
Future pickpocket in the making =)
I neglect to mention that these people voluntarily gave up their stuff. double =)

They were watching the kid. Or the boys playing football. Can't tell haha.
The girls were crying in some room at that time. Moo and I got bored there so we left early.
Oh, I should put that sentence in context first otherwise I might get in trouble with someone hehe.
Obviously Easter Camp is a Christian camp with Christian events la right. One of the talks was gender-specific so we split into girl and guy groups. The guys got the usual "control your lust" talk while the girls sat through a "you maybe broken and hurt inside but it's ok" talk. I hope you can put two and two together and figure out why the girls were crying/praying for each other while the guys were out playing football.

Did I cry? Heck yeah. I wasn't until she prayed for us and laid her hands on me. Suddenly the tears were streaming down haha. But I got over the reason I was crying pretty fast (or did I? Hmm) and I was concerned that Moo was getting bored so I left the room with her shortly after to find something to do.

We had a scavenger hunt. One of them was to find Easter eggs in flour.
Daniel kinda looked like William Wallace going off for war after he was done.

Another scavenger hunt task. It was to tie up all our legs together and make it to the finish line and then recite a tongue twister. It was something about bitter butter. My team did it slowly which kinda ruins the whole idea of a tongue twister but aiyah, we wanted to get on to the next task asap.

We celebrated Krystin's birthday. That's her boyfriend Jon =)
He's super duper tall! You know, one day, I should ask him how tall is super duper tall.

She received 22 presents, one for each year.

For my 100th birthday, I would like one present for each year too :)
Remember ya!

Other things we did to pass our free time:
Table tennis.

Showing off cool t-shirts.
This is Justin..I think haha. Let's just call him that for now la.
It says "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?"
Hehe, seeing the picture puts that saying in an entirely different light.

Camwhoring.

"Beer Goggles"

Playing Captain Ball.

Eating.
I honestly don't recall taking a picture of Chris eating -_-'
I think someone must have stolen my camera at this point :D

A photo session took place before we left. But I'm too lazy to look through them all so here's a few:
My OCF cell group that made it for Easter Camp.
We're usually about 15-25 people strong.
I'm too lazy to look up the photo of the girls sitting on the guys' laps.

Hahaha. Paik Jin looks like he's telling off Leland for messing with them.

I honestly don't know if Jack dropped Jiah Lit..
Coz I honestly don't remember taking this photo.

I honestly remember that stupid quiz I did that annoyed me with all its "honestly's"

Front row: Melisa
Middle row: Jiah Lit, Bee Bee, Paik Jin and Pearly
In the back: Jack, KC, Victor and David
WHERE AM I????
Oh, I think I took the photo hehe.

Ben, Pearly, Yen

Leland's Easter Camp cell.

Hehe, Chris so funny.

Housemates!
Joel and Leland
It's interesting because I know Joel from secondary school and Leland from college and now they're staying together gether. They even have an architect's corner! That one I must see.

OCF boys = nerds or posers?

Hehe, we voted Justin as Ms. Bimbo.
Shuk In was "Lamest Jokes"
And Leland as "Best dressed"
hahhaha

It says "I <3 Pearly". I think Leland had one too. Tsk tsk, this Pearly arr..marking her territory hehe

Holding hands all..aih

Did I say a few photos? Er, I guess it's a LOT haha

Departing from Rawson's Village for civilization!
See how happy some of them are haha.

Sleepy head Tee in the back row with Ben Shane.
I really took this photo because apparently, someone looks like me. Guess who?
I soo do not look like her, despite having 3 random people mistake me for her.

Unpacking the bus.
I was going to end with an unflattering photo of my housemate but I'm afraid of the repercussions so hm..NIGHTS!

The Story
(hard to read? hold down the ctrl button and scroll down with your mouse scroll =p )

In the corridor.
I've been thinking of everything
I used to want to be
Exiting the building.
I've been thinking of everything
Of me, of you and me
At the corner of Franklin and Elizabeth Streets
This is the story of my life
These are the lies I have created
This is the story of my life

These are the lies I have created
Corner of Bourke and Elizabeth Streets
I'm in the middle of nothing
And it's where I want to be
Arts Centre in Southbank
I'm at the bottom of everything
And I finally start to leave
Somewhere along St Kilda's Road (which isn't exactly in the St. Kilda suburb; it's in South Melbourne), after the Arts Centre la
This is the story of my life
These are the lies I have created
This is the story of my life

These are the lies I have created
I created
=p
And I swear to god
I'll find myself in the end
And I swear to god
I'll find myself in the end
And I swear to god
I'll find myself in the end
In the end
And I swear to god
I'll find myself in the end

In the end, in the end
In the end, in the end

Victoria Barracks, along St Kilda's Road.
This is the story of my life
These are the lies I have created
This is the story of my life
These are the lies I have created
This is the story of my life
These are the lies I have created

If you're really curious, go look up Google Maps for an idea of what route the bed took. Or clicky-click on this link here for a kinda blurry map.

Hehe, Leland was so nice to lend me his camera so I can steal these pictures. He was er... dragging pushing transporting his bed to his new place in Southbank. He said it took him about an hour and it showed in his movies that I'm not posting up because I'm a lazy bugger. Hehe, it was bright when he left and dark when he got home.

Speaking of which, I still haven't visited you at your new place yet. Aiks, someday soon la. Soon as in before you move out =p

So what have I been up to that has made me disappear for quite a while? Nothing much..I've just been ruining my health by sleeping at random hours. So I've been feeling pretty lethargic lately. I'm not really helping it by blogging now though haha.

Haha I'm doing something really stupid right now. Pearly is sitting right across from me on the dining table and we're chatting over MSN -_-"

In my defense (because I have this need to make an excuse for everything I do hoho), we've both have earphones in our ears and talking would require us to take them out and listen to each other. Plus it seems like less effort right now to just type rather than talk =)

Yes I'm so jobless.

PS: I've been in a 30 Seconds to Mars kinda mood recently. Their music wasn't really my cuppa tea a year or 2 ago but it's grown on me. Can't really put my finger on it...

PPS: I worry for you. I want to warn you sooo much to watch out, so that when the time comes to fall, it won't be so hard. But hehe, I'm a pessimist when it comes to these things so maybe I'm fretting over nothing.

A Girl Worth Fighting For - Mulan OST

I had a bunch of forms to fill in. And then I was presented with a conundrum under the first column to fill in - do I tick the box that says "Miss" or the one that says "Ms."?

It's something that annoys me because I don't know which one to pick and end up being stuck at that option for quite a while. Isn't it enough that most girls are indecisive and are unable to make up their minds whether to get that jacket in black or grey?? And now we have to pick between Miss or Ms. PLUS most of the times they require you to fill in those forms within a certain time period. Gosh, so I can't exactly go home and sleep on it and decide which jacket I want to buy which box to tick when there's a little clock in my head going "You need to make a decision nowwww!!"

Ugh, and it's usually no good trying to pressure a girl into making a decision on the spot when she's faced with decisions like this. The best method is to take matters into your own hands and just provide us with one option we can walk away with. Which means they really shouldn't have given us the choice between Miss or Ms.

They're both pronounced the same way. So, when I ask people about it, I have to spell it out for them. Aih...another downside of this.

I chose Miss in the end. Because it's more formal. And longer. Which makes it cooler and more suitable for my personality haha (that part was complete nonsense..but I did tick off Miss la)

PS: I AM aware of the differences between Miss and Ms. One is for women who are married/widowed and chose to use their maiden name. It's another option to Madame which some women perceive to be too mature for themselves. On the other hand, the other one is for unmarried women. Just that I forget which is which and I coudn't be bothered to look it up haha.

think of instead, a girl we're fighting forrrr~~~
